Check out this article about digital comics coming to your friendly neighborhood comic shop:

Diamond to Offer Digital Comics

We want to know what you think.

Would you purchase the digital version of a comic book for $1.99?  Would you pay an extra $.99 to get the digital version when you purchase the print version?

I might go for $.99 for the digital with the print version just to preserve the print copy’s unread quality if it’s a title I know I like and will want to read over and over again.

Judging from early poll numbers, the majority of folks so far are reluctant to get into them. If I was still an avid collector, I would most likely be purchasing the .99 add on to preserve the print copy as well since when I was a kid I ended up buying two copies and preserving one and reading the other. Ordering back issues off the website would be a cool option. I really think you would want the right device to view on though. Not a big fan of reading comics on my computer. If I had an iPad I think it might be cool.
