What is the MyComics App?

The MyComics App is the virtual version of your physical subscription box at Heroes Only Comics & Games. A useful online tool, the MyComics App allows you to manipulate your subscription box by adding or removing titles from your list of comics in the convenience of your own home. It functions as an error-checking tool as well, allowing you to make sure that the list of titles that you subscribe to are accurate, and also allows you to sign up for titles that haven’t come out yet.

Who can access it?

Anyone who has setup a physical subscription box at the Heroes Only store can obtain access to the virtual version of their box. Once you have set up your box, you will have the option of viewing your list of titles as well as adding and removing titles from your list. Adding a title is as simple as selecting it from a dropdown menu that can also be filtered by comic publisher. Removing a title is as easy as clicking a button.

What if I want a title that isn’t on the list?

The MyComics App makes an unlisted title easy to add. You can email subscriptions@heroesonly.net or follow the link on the adding titles page. The title will either be added promptly or you will receive a response containing more information.

I added a title, but never got it in my box?

While we try to accommodate additions to your list as quickly as possible, it maybe necessary to backorder a particular issue if it is ordered too close to the release date, depending on the quantity we will have in stock. If you wish to start a new title beginning with a specific issue, you can request a specific issue by emailing subscriptions@heroesonly.net.

How often do I need to pick up the contents of my subscription box?

You can check the contents of your box as often as you want. We realize that people have hectic schedules. Some choose to pick up their comics on a weekly basis, while others choose to come in once a month. This is at the customer’s discretion.

However, after 60 days of no activity, we will attempt to contact you to see if you’re still interested in keeping your box (unless you have already notified us and made arrangements). If we do not receive a response within ten business days, we will disable your box. No new comics will be added to the box until you contact us.

We are very flexible with our subscription services, and realize that extenuating circumstances do arise. We only ask that you inform us and we will gladly try to accommodate your needs.

Can you guys special order comics?

Most definitely! We can special order comics, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, apparel, and many toys. The majority of the time, we can give you an on-the-spot answer as to whether we can order the title or product you are interested in.
