Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE to anyone who comes into their stores. Publishers produce special edition comics geared to attracting new non-comic readers. There is a wide diversity of comics available, from traditional comics fare like Archie and Disney, super-heroes from Marvel and DC, manga from Tokyopop, as well as work from independent publishers.
This year, such titles as GI Joe, Shrek, Archie, and many others will be available.
This event will take place at Heroes Only Comics & Games on Saturday, May 1st. We’ll be giving out free comics from 9am to 9pm. Make sure to get there as early as possible to ensure the widest variety of titles to choose from.

want to thank All our Friends and Customers for making this the best HEROES ONLY Comics and Games Free Comic Book Day to date. I would Like to THANK the Laramie County Public Library for Participating with us and Big Country SPEEDWAY and most of all Camp Racing for bringing the car to the store yesterday morning and then making it where we could pass out free comics at the track. I loved it all!!!
