New Arrivals!

Posted on October 16th, 2007 in Store by Jeremy

Lorwyn is here!  Booster packs, fat packs, theme & tournament decks!

Also, new to the store is the World of Warcraft Board Game, BattleTech, Talisman, Halo ActionClix, and we’ve also received some of our first Pokemon Trading Figure Game 1 pk boosters.

Sometime this week I will also (hopefully) be starting a new arrivals section on the store bulletin board which will let everyone know what new comics and games will be arriving each week.  We’ll probably get something up on the site to reflect that, too.

The Saga continues…

Saturday, October 6th, was opening day.  I’m happy to report that it was a success.  It was awesome to see all of the chairs occupied by gamers.

I guess I’ll clue everyone in on some of the things that will be happening in the near future.

The comics section of the store will be growing rapidly.  Unfortunately, what we had on opening day was only our first shipment.  There will be many more titles to follow in the weeks to come.  Our lack of stock is mostly due to our decision to open now rather than waiting any longer.  I’m looking forward to seeing the gradual shrinking of empty store space.

Lorwyn (Magic: The Gathering) should be available in the store starting this Friday night.

We’ve got quite a few new games coming in shortly.  World of Warcraft (the board game), Warhammer 40K, Halo ActionClix, Last Night on Earth, and BattleTech to name just a few.  At some point, most everything will be demoed – schedules and info will be posted on the calendar and in the forums.

In addition to these titles, the Pokemon miniatures game is also on its way.  We plan on holding a kid’s event day on several Sundays out of the month where the focus will be on demoing games geared towards the younger audience.

This is an exciting time for us.  Jon and I would like to thank everyone that has come out and shown their support for the store.

Also, if you’re at the either the Capital or Lincoln Theaters, keep your eyes peeled for our advertisement that should be up on the big screen this week or next.
