Hey Everyone!

Well, Jon and I have finished compiling our first order and have sent it in. We’ll probably starting seeing our first merchandise at the end of September and then start receiving current issues in October. Just in time for Halloween! Rest assured, to properly celebrate such a creepy holiday, we’ve ordered a bunch of new horror titles that should satisfy anyone with an appetite for the scary and grotesque. I’m psyched for several of the new zombie titles coming out.

If you stay current with what’s happening on the heroesonly.net forums, then some of this information may be repetitive.

One of the things I’d like to get across is that the store is more than just a retail establishment for Jon and I. It’s as much about people as it is about merchandise. We’d like the store to project an atmosphere that is welcoming and inspires creativity. It will definitely be a Let-Your-Inner-Geek-Out type of location.

This is a busy time for us as we try to make sure we have the most versatile selection possible, and as we start tying up lose ends. There’s a lot of work to be done between now and October! I’ll keep everyone posted on the latest developments.

If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to email us with them and we’ll respond as quickly as possible. You can also post your questions and input in our forums as well.

I’d also like to thank Drew for the spectacular job he’s done on the site, and he’s continuing to improve it on a weekly basis. Keep on the lookout for some other advancements to the website as the store’s grand opening approaches.

On a final note, I’d also like to give credit where credit is due as it pertains to our logo. An artist by the name of Marshall Bock did the work for us and he was a pleasure to work with and as professional as they come. He definitely went the extra mile and I think the logo is awesome!
